Project Details

Peninsula Papagayo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Category: Residential Architecture
Type: Contemporary Architecture
Area: 1382 m²

Villa Yume is conceived as a contemporary residence that explores the relationship between architecture, landscape, and spatial experience. Designed by QBO3 Arquitectos, the project is defined by a strong geometric composition that organizes the program into interconnected volumes. The architecture emphasizes openness, natural light, and visual continuity, creating a sequence of spaces that transition fluidly between interior and exterior. Materiality plays a key role in defining the atmosphere, combining textures and finishes that enhance the perception of depth and scale. The project balances privacy and openness, allowing expansive views while maintaining a sense of intimacy within the spaces. Through architectural photography, the intention was to capture this balance, highlighting the interplay between structure, light, and environment, and how the architecture unfolds as an experiential journey.
