Project Details

Reserva Conchal, Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Category: Residential Architecture
Type: Tropical Architecture
Area: 655 m²

Villa Nuri is conceived as a response to its tropical context, where architecture is designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Designed by Studio Saxe, the project emphasizes openness, natural ventilation, and the use of local materials to create a harmonious connection between built space and nature. The spatial composition is defined through a sequence of open and semi-open areas that allow light and air to flow freely, reinforcing a sense of continuity between interior and exterior. The architectural language focuses on simplicity and material honesty, where structure and environment coexist in balance. Through architectural photography, the intention was to capture this relationship, highlighting how the architecture interacts with light, vegetation, and climate to create an immersive living experience.
