Casa Solreva sits on one of the highest sites within Senderos in Tamarindo, overlooking the estuary, tropical valley, and distant mountain ridges. Originally designed by Dean Thomas Design Group and adapted to the Guanacaste climate by architect Sébastien Verniers of Sevarq, the house is shaped around its relationship with the view. Deep horizontal rooflines frame the landscape while floor-to-ceiling glass opens the main living spaces completely toward the terrace and infinity pool. Teak ceilings, natural stone, travertine, and a restrained material palette bring warmth to the contemporary architecture. From the exterior, the house appears embedded into the hillside, with its heavier stone base supporting lighter volumes above. The photography focused on this relationship between architecture, topography, and changing light, particularly in the late afternoon when the western exposure begins to reveal the depth and texture of the materials.
