Project Details:
Nosara, Costa Rica
Category: Residential Architecture
Type: Restoration / Renovation

Casa Nueve is conceived as a transformation of an existing concrete structure into a refined and livable architectural space. Located in Nosara, Costa Rica, the project reinterprets a once unfinished and fragmented construction, turning it into a cohesive and expressive residence. The design emphasizes spatial flow, opening the structure to natural light, ventilation, and unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape. Arches become a defining architectural language, unifying the project while introducing softness and rhythm to the original concrete form. Natural materials such as wood and stone balance the rawness of the structure, creating a dialogue between solidity and warmth. Through architectural photography, the intention was to capture this transformation, highlighting how light, texture, and geometry redefine the experience of space and bring a sense of calm and clarity to the architecture.
