Project Details

Escazú, San José, Costa Rica
Category: Residential Architecture
Type: Biophilic Architecture
Area: 905 m²

Casa Anahata is conceived as a contemporary residence that explores the principles of biophilic design within the hills of Escazú, Costa Rica. Designed by Carazo Arquitectura, the project emphasizes a strong connection between architecture and nature through the use of sustainable materials and spatial openness. The design is organized to maximize natural light, ventilation, and views, creating a seamless relationship between interior and exterior spaces. Materiality plays a fundamental role, incorporating elements that enhance both environmental performance and sensory experience. The architectural language balances structure and landscape, allowing the house to integrate naturally into its surroundings while maintaining a clear and refined identity. Through architectural photography, the intention was to capture this connection between architecture, light, and nature, highlighting how the project creates a calm and immersive living environment.
