Project Details

Papagayo Peninsula, Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Category: Hospitality Architecture
Type: Beach Club
Area: 900 m²

Andaz Casa de Playa is conceived as a coastal hospitality pavilion that responds to the landscape of Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica. Designed by QBO3 Arquitectos, the project is organized through a clear spatial hierarchy, modular composition, and fluid transitions between indoor and outdoor environments. The architecture cascades gently with the terrain, connecting arrival, dining, pool, and beach through a sequence of visually and physically connected spaces. At the heart of the project, the main pavilion creates an open social core with dining and bar areas designed for natural ventilation and uninterrupted views. Through architectural photography, the intention was to capture the relationship between structure, light, and landscape, emphasizing how the project frames the Pacific setting while delivering an elevated coastal experience
